For the past 10 years our Club has hosted a virtual auction that highlights "experiences" and "services" with our fellow Rotarians as well as unique one of a kind auction items from our generous circle of friends and colleagues.
 
 
Red Deer Sunrise Rotary 10th Annual Virtual Auction 
 
Who:  All members of the Sunrise Rotary Club of Red Deer, each member will be responsible for creating “one” or “two” items describing their  donation of a “experience / service” based on a minimum perceived closing bid potential of  anywhere from $50 - $200 and more!!.  We will also be featuring  unique items and services acquired from our business contacts and corporate affiliations.  
 
What:   A FUNdraiser showcasing each member’s unique talents, abilities, and hobbies.  With our current club membership we have the potential to raise approximately $5000 (5000 / ~20 = $250 each) for our club’s ongoing operating costs related to youth programming.
 
When:  For a 2 week period with a launch at our Wednesday, May 4 breakfast meeting and wrap up at 8 pm on Wednesday, May 18.  Review ALL bids at our Club Breakfast meeting the morning the auction is closing for last minute  “excitement” and bids for HOT items. 
 
Where:  on line “catalogue”  built using the  “32auctions”  website that we will all be able to access based on a secured password to place our bids.
 
Why:  This concept of fundraising does not involve attending a function to participate.  Opportunity for EVERY MEMBER to participate by putting together a package experience and/or acquiring a unique item  for our auction.  This tenth annual auction is going to be “open” for contributions and bids beyond our club to include other Red Deer clubs as well as our “forwarded” circles of friends and associates. 
 
How:  To bid on an item simply go to www.32auctions.com/50shades2022  and place your bid after browsing the complete catalogue.   Our Committee will work with each of you to finalize your auction contribution.  Each item will have an opening bid of $50 with bidding in increments of $10.   Proxy bids can be made and some aucton items do have a BUY IT NOW option.  Winning bids will be posted once the Auction closes.  Payments can be made by etransfer to the Club Treasurer and/or using PayPal
Your donation in support of our club’s commitments to youth programs ( ie. leadership camps, scholarships, mental health programs) will be money well spent AND you get a chance to purchase a unique customized service, experience or auction item.
